Tap water naturally contains dissolved minerals. When ordinary water dries on glass, those minerals can remain behind as visible spots or haze. Deionized water is filtered to remove those charged mineral particles before the water reaches the window.
For suitable exterior window-cleaning projects, purified water can be delivered through a water-fed pole to a soft brush. The brush loosens dirt from the glass, frames, and edges, and the purified-water rinse carries that material away. Because the rinse contains very few dissolved minerals, the glass can dry without the mineral residue associated with untreated tap water.
This approach can reduce the need for soap and squeegee work on appropriate exterior windows. Water-fed poles also let trained technicians clean many upper-story windows from the ground when the property layout and working conditions allow it.
The equipment still matters. A professional system filters the source water and measures its purity, while the technician manages brush contact, rinsing, runoff, and any stubborn contamination. Deionized water is a useful cleaning tool, not a substitute for careful technique.
